December Employee of the Month
Derek works in the Operations Department. Derek is very helpful to his coworkers not only in his department but also with other departments. He is very flexable and willing to do whatever is asked of him. He has no complaints when asked to clean out the Zamboni pit, which is the worst job that Opertions is asked to do.
For being chosen Employee of the Month, Derek will receive a gift certificate to the Empire Mall and a parking spot in the employee parking lot for the next month.
The Orpheum Theater opened in 1913 as a vaudeville house and seats just under 700 (originally seating 1000). The elegant and beautifully preserved theatre served in this capacity until 1954, when the Community Playhouse group acquired the Orpheum for its home.
